I know you’ve seen my glam room a thousand times over, but I’ve decided to take things to the next level and change things up a bit. It’s hands down my favorite room in the house, but I’m always looking for more ways to incorporate more elements of ME in the room. One day while scrolling through Pinterest, it hit me: A Sneaker Wall.

After measuring the walls and looking around online, Isa confirmed exactly how many shelving units we’d need to make the idea come to life. When we created this wall, Ikea was still shut down, so I had to order the Lack Shelving and get it delivered (rush order, of course). The shelving units were super easy to put together as long as you have some simple tools around the house. Once we figured out how easy it would be, we grabbed the tool box and got to work!

We made sure each shelving unit was leveled and had the same amount of space; my man took the lead on that part because all that measuring is not my thing, LOL.

The idea was to create a wall where I could display more of my exclusive sneakers. I probably own around 90-100 pairs of sneakers (don’t judge me!), but I had to choose my favorite, most exclusive pairs to show off on the wall. The finished product was EXACTLY what I envisioned. It really was the perfect finishing touch to this room that I love.

We actually recorded the process. Check it out on my IGTV.

Have you thought about adding a shoe wall or handbag wall? I 100% recommend the IKEA Lack Shelving.

Until next time,

XOXO,
