Hey, Mob! As most of you know, I hosted my first workshop last Saturday featuring my girl Marsha of The Finance Bar. This workshop was all about Securing Brand Partnerships and Managing Money Like a BOSS! We had the best time, got the best gems, and all left feeling ready to LEVEL UP.
I’ll be the first to tell you that it’s tough out here in this Influencer/Entrepreneurship world! Even still, having that consistent coin coming in makes it 10 times better and worth the ups and downs this life can bring. I’ve been at this blogging thing for quite a while now, and felt like I had some amazing nuggets to share about not only landing brand deals, but also offering the perspective from the brand’s side. I now know exactly what brands are looking for, so I always make sure to pay it forward and spread the wealth. This past Saturday, we added 21 new members to Mel’s Mob and I couldn’t be happier.
We talked about everything from knowing your worth, staying consistent, discussed why meaningful content is important, how to nurture important relationships, and so much more. I was so amazed by how many women who attended that already had some short of connection with me. We had either worked together many moons ago, went to college together, they saw me on the news, met me at events, subscribed to the mailing list, etc. I’m so thankful for my tribe and don’t know what I’d do without you guys pushing me to do this work!
