First things first, if you guys don’t follow my Kicks & Fros platform, I’m gonna need you to head over now because you’re seriously missing out! It’s where I highlight SneakHER style and feature  women and all the fly ways they rock sneakers with the unique flare only they have. Of course, because I’m a curly girl, we throw in some fro magic, too! It’s more than just a sneaker inspo  page; we also share release dates and are working on some closet kick-fessionals with a few of my fellow influencer friends. Stay tuned! 😉

I’ve been brainstorming new Kicks & Fros T-shirt designs for some time now, so when Custom Ink apparel company reached out to me and announced they were opening a Charlotte, NC location, I was over the moon excited! They invited me in to design some tees and I knew this was my manifestation coming to life. I knew for sure it was the perfect time to create some new merch for Kicks & Fros. Love my old faithful gear, but it’s time to spice it up a bit!

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the team was super helpful! They helped with T-shirt selections, and were SO patient with me as I went back and forth with the design I wanted. I can be indecisive at times, but I knew that even though the end of summer is near, I couldn’t pass up on the rainbow tie dye tees with the classic Kicks & Fros Logo.

How freakin’ cute? I also had an idea to add the bold statement, “I Make Kick Contact Before Eye Contact”; if any of you are sneaker lovers like me, you know this statement is true! *hides face* I wanted to keep it classic black and white to make sure I loved the design first, so that’s what we did. We found the perfect spot in the top neck to add the logo, and voila! We decided to go with the canvas tri-blend for this t-shirt. It’s super soft.

If you own a brand, are building a brand, or have an event coming up, make sure you head over to Custom Ink on Park Road for all your apparel needs. They’re super helpful, the store is so cute, and the options are affordable. I’m excited to create more designs and even put together a special little something for my honorary bridesmaids to wear at my bachelorette next year! Stay tuned, and when you stop by, don’t forget to tell them Melissa Chanel sent you!

XOXO,
