Happy First Day of Spring, y’all! I hope the weather is warm and sun is bright where ever you are; Lord knows I’m hoping Charlotte catches up SOON! I’m so excited to put away my coats, pull out the shorts, and switch up my wardrobe for the next 6 months or so.

I have SO many things planned this spring, like cute dates with my FIANCÉ (oh, you didn’t know? Ya girl got engaged!! #IsaFiance). For us, warm weather means picnics in the park, baseball games, and most importantly… rooftops!

Who DOESN’T love a good rooftop?! Cityscape views, cool breezes, refreshing cocktails…there’s so much to love about spending your happy hours on a roof. Whether it’s an after-work meet-up with your work besties, a girls’ night out, or simply unwinding after a long week, Charlotte has some of the best rooftops in town. In honor of the first day of spring, join me on a roof, why don’t you? Here are a few of my faves in the Queen City.

1. Merchant & Trade: Delicious drinks, GORGEOUS layout and decor, and the views of all views! I’ve spent so much time on this rooftop ever since it opened in 2017. As you can see from my pictures, the decor is totally Insta-worthy, so grab a few friends and head on up for your next celebration!

2. Fahrenheit: If you haven’t heard of Fahrenheit, I’m begging you to give this super trendy spot a try! They have yummy food, delicious craft cocktails, and a vibe that makes you want to get dolled up in your happy hour chic look and toast in front of their gorgeous fire pit.

3. City Lights Rooftop: Head up to the 18th floor of Le Méridien Charlotte Hotel for the signature Sparkle & Pop prosecco popsicle drink, an incredible view of the Queen City, and bourbon glazed wings that are to LIVE for. If you’re in the dancing mood, they’ve got a DJ, so you and the gals can turn happy hour into girls’ night on the town. I love it!

4. Peculiar Rabbit: Hands down one of THE best skyline views of Charlotte! Peculiar Rabbit gives the perfect backdrop for your Charlotte pics, romantic sunsets for date nights with bae, and over 20 different bourbon varieties for their signature craft cocktails. Sold yet?

5. Graham Street Pub & Patio: If you’re not in the mood to get dolled up but still want the city vibe, Graham Street Pub & Patio is your spot. It’s super chill, with delish bar food (get the fried chicken sliders), and all the beer your stomach can hold (y’all know I’m a beer girl!). I love coming here with my friends to watch the game, or with Isa for a chill last-minute date night.

Don’t let this warm weather break without finding yourself on SOMEBODY’S rooftop! You can bet you’ll see me and my ring hitting all the spots in celebration of a new season. Is anyone else staring down your weather app for the next sight of warm weather? I AM! Last week’s Hawaii vacay left me spoiled. :-/

Okay, Mel’s Mob…see you on the roof! Happy Spring!

Xoxo,

Melissa
