Remember that shopping budget I spoke about once or twice or a million times? Well that went down the drain when Victoria Beckham decided to team up with Target and release a line.
If you haven't heard of it, PLEASE head to your local Target ASAP and snag an item! It’s going fast, but if you can get your hands on something, you really have to. The colors and silhouettes are just perfect for spring.
First things first: Can we talk about the price point for a minute? Nothing I purchased was over 40 bucks…like, how amazing is that? Then the quality. Y’all, I swear she put serious thought into the fabrics she used, because if you told me the items were thousands of dollars and came straight from VB’s closet, I’d believe you. So to that, I say, “Thanks, Vic!” (Yes, we’re homegirls now.)
Okay, enough of my obsessing. Let’s get right down to business.
First up is this hot pink duo. The pink pants & a matching fringe top? Ahhhhh! Yes, I literally screamed when I saw it. And you see what happened when I put it on? I literally stopped traffic, LOL.
Now, the second look. This skirt. Y’all…THIS. SKIRT! The movement is everything and I can't wait to wear it on a nice date with bae. It's one of those conversation pieces I talked about last week, so I paired it with a simple off the shoulder leotard from Express and some old Aldo sandals (like, 5 years old, old) to give me a little pop of color.
Yes, I have more *hides face*. You all know I'm a sucker for a matching set, right? So, I initially left this piece in the store, but went back and got it on Sunday evening. The racks emptied quickly, but thankfully, they still had my size. It's absolutely perfect, and even though it’s on the more playful side, I decided to get adventurous and style it for day and night. Doesn't it look super cute and concert-ready with a pair of AirMax? Or if you prefer the dressier side, step into a pair of black sandals and throw the jacket over your shoulders. It’s so darling for a night out on the town! Victoria, girl, you've outdone yourself.
And last but certainly not least, this stripped dress. I think it was the sleeve that got me. When I saw her and tried her on, I knew she was coming home with me. She's super comfy and I love the longer length in the back. Here, I’m pairing her with a girlie pair of Nike Cortez and once again, my pink Furla bag, but I think I'll restyle her with a tank and a pair of jeans. You may even see her on my Instagram later this week. Stay tuned, LOL.
When it comes to sizing, I’ll say the collection runs pretty true to size for the most part, especially the pants. I'm in a size 6 and small top. The skirt is a size 4; I went down for a tighter fit. In the matching set, I'm wearing a 6 in the shorts and extra small in the jacket (the small was gone, so I made it work LOL).
If you’re sold (and seriously, you should be!) head to your local Target or check online now. Like I said, the items are flying fast, but you may be in luck and find some fun pieces just in time for Easter.
I’m giving a million and one thank you's to Target for teaming up with VB for this line, and I'm praying to baby Jesus that they collaborate again in the fall. *prayer hands*
If you snagged a piece, tell me in the comments below! And if you’re rocking it on IG, don’t forget to tag me so I can see how you styled them up! I’m thinking of doing another post on my favorite VBxTarget ‘fits.
