Noir La Mode has 4 days full of fashion events for you!!!!! 



What is Noir La Mode??? ... Well here are the deets!!!

Establishing it’s self as the new premier events platform within the fashion industry to fill the current void were representation for multicultural ethnicities lack. Think of it as 7th on sixth geared towards this exceptionally talented but under exposed people spanning from, African Americans, Asians, Hispanic, Afro Europeans, Middle Eastern and the Aboriginal Pacific.  

In collaboration with the Urban League and Simon Malls “Noir La Mode “ will launch during the course of Black History month, February 2012, and will coincide with NY Fashion Week.  “Noir La Mode” will commemorate the African Diaspora’s contribution to fashion.

This will be an all-encompassing four-day event that is designed to celebrate and showcase the work of independent Black designers, engage ethnic communities & inspire aspiring student designers to follow their passion for fashion. 

EVENT SCHEDULE BELOW...


Feb 16th: “Noir La Mode Runway” - Manhattan

·        Premier Runway Show, exhibiting Black designers

·        7pm-11pm

·        Manhattan Venue - Runway Exit Art

·        Advanced Ticket purchase



Feb 17th:  “Fashion Facts” - Long Island

·        An inspirational workshop for youth wanting to break into the fashion industry.

·        Attendees: Long Island Teens aged 13-18

·        Roosevelt Public Library Auditorium



Feb 18th: “Noir La Mode” Soiree – Long Island

·        Red Carpet soiree showcasing ethnic designers and honoring achievers in the fashion industry

·        6pm-11pm

·        African American Museum 

·        Advanced Ticket purchase


Feb 19th:  “Accessorized Granted”  - Simons Mall, Long Island
·        8pm-11pm, an intimate event for accessory designers to be seen and heard.

·        10am – 5pm, “Sample’s Sell” pop up store where consumers can shop for a good cause.

·        A suggested $5 donation entry fee event
