Last Friday I traveled to Nashville for Dollar General's #ADayofBeauty with my Cantu Beauty family. I was so excited to see them after a very successful Essence Fest and couldn't wait to get yet another event under our belts and explore Nashville as well. We landed early Friday to get set up and ready for Saturday's event. After set up, we strolled the streets of Nashville (we had no idea it was the bachlorette capital), taking in all the sites, eating some of the yummy local food, and catching up from being apart for a whole week!
The theme for us was to educate those who were not familiar with the brand and also let our consumers know about the products that Dollar General carry. We were able to hand out samples, let consumers feel, smell, and see the results of using Cantu! Global Stylist, Maria Antoinette styled two amazing quick summer hairstyles on our hair models and I was able to talk through each style to educate everyone watching and listening on how each product should be used. We answered tons of questions, had fun and educational giveaways of full-sized products, and snapped photos with tons of followers/fans of our personal brands. The Cantu booth was never empty and we really enjoyed hanging out with everyone and talking all things Cantu Beauty!
It's all about educating others on how Cantu can work for them and how to use the products properly. I really enjoy talking to others about a brand I love and use on a daily/weekly basis. Thank you so much to Dollar General for putting on such an amazing event. From the brunch to event day, everything was a success! I really enjoyed the panels and the amazing performance by the beautiful KeKe Wyatt. Hearing her gorgeous voice made working the event that much easier. Looking forward to next years Dollar General's #ADayofBeauty!
